Spirals are helical wires which are used to connect panels to make a gabion cage. They also protect against the sharp edges, are the strongest connection.

U-Clips are neat looking but slow to apply (a special tool should be used). Also are less strong than spirals, suitable for smaller decorative walls.

An alternative is to hire a gabion C ringer from us. Gabion C rings are not fencing rings and are much heavier duty. They require a pneumatic tool found in the gabion accessories section. This is a fast method preferred by most landscapers.

AL-TEN is Permathene weld mesh manufactured in Australia. It is 10% Aluminium, 90% Zinc coated mild steel designed to last. Each panel is manufactured to size (not cut from large imported panels like many others).

Parcel Post - Standard Service

Products which are small enough can be shipped via Aus Post. If this option is available at checkout it may be cheaper and faster than General Road.

Express Post - Standard Service

Products which are small enough can be shipped via Aus Post Express. If this option is available at checkout it may be cheaper than standard transport. You must check your area is serviced by Express Post (generally only metro areas).

TNT Road

Customer unloads. This means either the customer has access to a forklift or is prepared to unload manually. If the consignment is light (less than 50kg) this is easy. If the consignment is greater then the customer must be prepared to assist the driver in unloading by hand. If this is not possible you must select the next shipping option (Liftgate Service). Method is either van or truck depending upon size and weight. Companies we use include TNT (business and residential), Northline, Hi-Tranz (business to business), Toll (business to business), etc. We try to select the freight company that will deliver the fastest at the best price.

TNT Liftgate Service

Driver unloads the pallet using a hydraulic ramp. The driver will leave the pallet on the drive. This liftgate service does not include special unloading to a construction site where access cannot be made by normal truck. Such deliveries are by crane (hi-ab) and are by special quotation only. Method is either van or truck depending upon size and weight. Companies we use include TNT (business and residential), Hi-Tranz (business to business). We try to select the freight company that will deliver the fastest at the best price.

Local Courier Sydney metro area

This is the quickest method to ship locally. Method will be via ute, van or truck depending upon size and weight of order. Someone must be present to assist the driver in unloading if the product is over 50kg (if nobody is home you must choose Liftgate for any heavy delivery).
