Shipments and returns
When choosing a shipping method at checkout the options are:
- General Road: Customer unloads. This means either the customer has access to a forklift or is prepared to unload manually. If the consignment is light (less than 50kg) this is easy. If the consignment is greater then the customer must be prepared to assist the driver in unloading by hand. If this is not possible you must select the next shipping option (Liftgate Delivery).
- Liftgate Delivery: Driver unloads the pallet using a hydraulic ramp. The driver will leave the pallet on the drive. This liftgate service does not include special unloading to a construction site where access cannot be made by normal truck. Such deliveries are by crane (hi-ab) and are by special quotation only.
- Australia Post: Products which are small enough can be shipped via Aus Post. If this option is available at checkout it may be cheaper than standard transport.
- Collect: This is from our warehouse 28 Mount Erin Road, Campbelltown NSW 2560. Check with us if you're unsure as to the total weight for your trailer or car. Telephone (02) 4620 7837.
Countries we ship to
Australia nationwide for all products.
USA and New Zealand for selected products which are able to be shipped by Australia Post international.
Countries (outside Australia)
We are not responsible for any duty (import duty) nor taxes.
We use the following carriers for most consignments depending upon weight and size: Australia Post, Toll, TNT and regional carriers. The service is door to door. If you prefer for the consignment to be shipped by your own carrier select "Collect" at checkout and advise us in the comments section.
Leaving Goods Without Signature
Both Australia Post and Toll will accept "authorize to leave" shipments. You must state in the comments section that you want the goods to be left if you are not going to be available to accept delivery. We accept no responsibility in the event the goods go missing once the shipping company provides confirmation of delivery.
In the event the customer does not specifically request "authorize to leave" and the goods are not delivered because there is nobody to accept delivery then the customer will be charged a re-delivery fee.
If the consignment is on a pallet and you require the goods to be left without signature you must choose Liftgate Delivery as the driver will not manually unload from a pallet without assistance.
We will notify you of the estimated shipping times. These vary depending upon location.
Return of Goods
a) Goods returned for exchange due to our error would be accepted freight forward using the original carrier.
b) At our discretion, we may accept returns in other circumstances provided they are unopened, unmarked and returned freight paid.
Damaged Goods, Lost in Transit
a) We will not consider any claim for damaged Goods or for short or incorrect delivery unless we are notified in writing within 7 days of receipt of Goods or within 14 days of dispatch date in case of non delivery.
b) Goods damaged by freight must be identified as such on the cartage note prior to accepting delivery.
Weight is indicated by actual or volumetric calculated by Length x Width x Height in meters x 250 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms and is indicated as Unit weight of products at checkout if the volumetric weight is higher than the actual weight. Some products have additional factors for oversize which are incorporated into the unit weights.
