This heavy-duty gabion measures 1950 mm long x 1500 mm wide x 975 mm high, with a 75 x 75 mm square mesh for reliable rock retention. It is manufactured from AL-TEN alloy-coated steel for improved corrosion resistance and long service life in outdoor environments.
Ideal for retaining walls, garden terraces, feature walls, and erosion control, this unit provides a robust, permeable solution that blends function with natural stone aesthetics. Its open structure relieves hydrostatic pressure while allowing drainage.
The 75 x 75 mm aperture supports stable packing with angular rock, helping the basket maintain shape and alignment when built correctly. When combined with appropriate backfill and separation geotextile, it helps limit soil migration behind the wall.
For best results, prepare a level, well-compacted base, place on stable subgrade, and fill with hard, angular stone. Build in lifts, tension and brace as required, and ensure consistent alignment for a clean finish and long-term performance.
