Durable mesh gabion basket measuring 2000 x 1000 x 500 mm with 100 x 50 mm aperture and AL-TEN aluminium-zinc alloy coating for enhanced corrosion resistance. Ideal for retaining walls and landscaping features; holds approximately 1.0 m3 of rock.
This gabion basket measures 2000 mm (L) x 1000 mm (W) x 500 mm (H) with a 100 x 50 mm mesh aperture. The AL-TEN aluminium-zinc alloy coating provides strong corrosion resistance for long-term performance in outdoor environments.
Use for gravity retaining walls, garden edging and features, erosion control, and architectural cladding or seating. The 100 x 50 mm aperture helps create a neat, stable face when filled with well-graded stone.
Capacity is approximately 1.0 m3. For best results, fill with clean, hard, angular rock typically 75-150 mm, sized larger than the mesh opening to minimise spillage and settlement.
Install on a firm, level base and align baskets carefully; use suitable internal bracing and secure joints with appropriate lacing or clips according to best practice. Combine multiple units to achieve required length and height.
