This large gabion basket measures 1950 x 975 x 525 mm (H) with a 75 x 75 mm square mesh, providing an approximate internal volume of 1.0 m3. Constructed from steel wire with an AL-TEN aluminium-zinc alloy coating, it delivers dependable corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor use.
Ideal for retaining walls, terracing, erosion control, and architectural landscaping features, this unit creates clean, uniform faces when packed correctly. The 75 mm aperture secures stone effectively while allowing good drainage through the structure.
For best results, install on a firm, level base, brace corners and internal panels, and fill in compacted layers. Use clean, angular stone larger than the mesh opening, and include drainage and geotextile where required by site conditions.
