This robust gabion basket measures 1950 x 975 x 975 mm (H), suited to retaining walls, landscape features and erosion control. The 75 x 75 mm square mesh provides reliable stone retention and a clean, uniform finish.
Constructed from steel wire with an AL-TEN (aluminium-zinc) corrosion-resistant coating, it delivers long-term durability in outdoor environments. The coating offers improved performance compared to standard galvanised finishes.
For best results, fill with hard, angular rock typically 100–200 mm to minimise bulging and ensure a tight, stable structure. For soil-retaining uses, prepare a level, compacted base and incorporate drainage and a suitable geotextile behind the basket to prevent soil migration.
The 1950 x 975 x 975 mm format integrates easily with adjacent modules for stepped or stacked walls. Suitable for residential and commercial projects including garden walls, noise bunds, culvert headwalls and decorative cladding.
