Durable AL-TEN coated gabion basket measuring 1500 x 975 x 525mm with a 75x75mm mesh aperture. Supplied flat-packed for straightforward assembly and holds approximately 0.768 m3 of rock for retaining walls and landscape features.
This heavy-duty gabion basket measures 1500 x 975 x 525mm (L x W x H) and features a 75x75mm square mesh. The AL-TEN alloy coating on the steel wire provides enhanced corrosion resistance and long service life.
With a capacity of roughly 0.768 m3, it is well suited to retaining walls, garden features, seating, and erosion control. The 75mm aperture delivers a clean, uniform face while securely containing the rock fill.
Supplied flat-packed to reduce transport bulk, the unit is assembled on site using lacing wire, spirals, or C-clips. Set on a level, compacted base; square up panels and use internal bracing as required to maintain alignment while filling.
Fill with hard, angular stone graded so that the smallest pieces cannot pass through the 75x75mm mesh. Place and compact in layers to keep the front face straight; consider a geotextile separator behind the basket where soils are fine.
Combine multiple units to build longer structures, or top with timber or stone for seating and planters. The robust AL-TEN finish makes it a reliable choice for exposed outdoor environments.
