This modular gabion basket measures 1500mm (L) x 525mm (W) x 525mm (H) with a 75 x 75mm mesh aperture. Made from AL-TEN coated steel for strong corrosion resistance, it’s designed for long-term performance outdoors.
When filled with quality rock and correctly braced, it forms stable retaining structures, erosion control solutions, and attractive landscape features. The 75mm aperture helps retain stone securely while allowing good drainage.
Internal volume is approximately 0.41 m³. Select hard, angular rock larger than the mesh opening for a tight, durable face. Combine multiple units to build longer walls or terraced sections.
Install on a level, compacted base and use suitable lacing/spirals and internal bracing as required. For soil-retaining applications, include drainage and, where appropriate, a geotextile separator behind the wall.
