This versatile gabion basket measures 975 mm x 525 mm x 750 mm (H) with a 75 x 75 mm mesh aperture. The AL-TEN alloy coating provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments and long-term outdoor use.
Use it to build compact retaining walls, garden edging, seating, or decorative features. It’s also suited to stabilising small slopes and managing erosion in landscape projects.
The 75 x 75 mm mesh helps confine rock fill securely. Estimated internal volume is approximately 0.384 m³. For best results, fill with hard, angular stone larger than the 75 mm aperture to minimise movement and ensure a tight, stable structure.
Install on a level, well-compacted base. When building retaining structures, consider using a suitable geotextile behind the basket to limit soil migration. Combine multiple baskets for longer runs, steps, and corners to achieve clean, consistent lines.
