This gabion basket measures 975mm long x 750mm wide x 975mm high and features a 75x75mm square mesh. The AL-TEN corrosion-resistant coating provides long service life in outdoor environments, making it well suited to retaining walls, erosion control and architectural landscaping. The 75mm aperture securely contains rock fill while presenting a clean, uniform face. Once filled, the unit forms a rigid, free-draining structure that accommodates groundwater movement and helps reduce hydrostatic pressure behind walls. Ideal applications include low to medium-height retaining walls, garden terraces, feature cladding, planters and seating. When installed against soil, use a suitable geotextile separation layer to prevent fines from entering the basket. Choose durable, angular stone sized larger than the mesh opening for minimal spill-out and a stable finish. Install on a level, compacted base. Square the panels, secure all edges with appropriate lacing wire or spirals, and include internal bracing/tie wires at intervals to limit bulging. Face stones can be hand placed for a neat facade, then backfill and compact in layers. Always follow engineering guidance for wall height, batter and foundations.
