This compact gabion basket measures 750mm (L) x 525mm (W) x 750mm (H) with a 75x75mm mesh aperture. It is manufactured from AL-TEN aluminium‑zinc alloy coated steel for enhanced corrosion resistance compared to standard galvanised finishes, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Ideal for small retaining walls, terracing, garden edging, seating blocks, piers and decorative features, its footprint fits tight spaces while providing the mass and permeability needed to manage soil and water effectively.
The basket is assembled on site and typically secured using lacing wire or helical spirals with internal bracing as required. For best results, place on a level, well-compacted base and fill with clean, angular rock sized larger than the 75mm mesh opening to ensure a dense, stable structure.
Durable, low maintenance and modular, this gabion delivers a clean, modern look while allowing natural drainage to reduce hydrostatic pressure and minimise the need for additional pipework.
