This compact welded mesh gabion measures 750 x 750 x 525 mm (H) with a 75 x 75 mm aperture, ideal for space-efficient structures. The AL-TEN alloy-coated wire provides strong corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor use.
Use as a low retaining edge, planter base, seating block, feature column, or to stabilise small banks and garden areas. The square footprint fits neatly into corners and tight sites.
The 75 x 75 mm mesh securely retains rock fill while allowing excellent drainage, reducing hydrostatic pressure behind walls. For best results, use angular rock larger than the mesh opening to create a stable, attractive face.
Install on a level, well-compacted base. Brace as required, fill in layers, and close securely with suitable ties or clips. Where soil contacts the basket, add a geotextile separator to prevent fines migration. Minimal maintenance is needed beyond periodic checks and top-up after settlement.
