This robust gabion basket measures 975mm (L) x 300mm (W) x 1500mm (H) with a 75x75mm square mesh. It is constructed from AL-TEN alloy-coated steel for dependable corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
Ideal for slim, vertical applications such as retaining features, garden edging, columns, and screening. The open mesh facilitates natural drainage to help reduce hydrostatic pressure behind structures.
Fill with durable stone to create a stable, free-draining mass. Install on a level, compacted base and securely connect all panels; add internal bracing as required by your design and loading.
Approximate rock capacity is around 0.44 m3, depending on stone size and packing. The modular format pairs easily with baskets of matching height and mesh for continuous runs.
For soil-retaining applications, consider a suitable geotextile between soil and the basket fill to minimise fines migration and maintain long-term performance.
