Kitset includes panels: 2 of 1950mm x 525mm, 2 of 1950mm x 300mm and 3 of 525mm x 300mm. Spirals: 8 of 1m, 6 of .5m, 6 of .3m. Stiffeners: 4 of 300mm (braces placed front to back), plus 2 of 980mm (placed end to end from centre panel). AL-TEN is wire coated with a minimum of 290 grams of 10% Aluminium and 90% Zinc.

If spirals kitset contains: Spirals 6 of .3m, 6 of .5m, 8 of 1m.

If using Nikolock space a minimum of every 3 apertures. If using C rings space a minimum of every 2 apertures. 

Gabion kitset is supplied unassembled in a box or pallet depending upon quantity. 

Important:

Always consider the stability of the wall you're constructing and whether internal reinforcing may be required. If the gabion is used for retaining you may need to ensure there is proper anchoring into the slope to prevent collapse, for example geogrids and earth anchors are often used. Check with an engineer for advice as soil type and other factors must be considered.

For free standing walls you may wish to reinforce the wall to a concrete foundation. See attachment for an example of how to do this.

The freight charge on this order was almost a deal breaker. I have had much larger and heavier deliveries for a fraction of this cost.

Hi Bryan, Yes I understand. Shipping is a huge cost for products that are over 2m in width. We do have the option of using a cheaper carrier (30% saving) but the problem with them is that they seem to have even worse reviews than the company we currently use, which appears to be the best of a mediocre bunch. If you order again please call so we can discuss other carrier options.

Fantastic Product - Easy to construct and great visual effect

Used these products to construct a border under our house between the piers. They look fantastic paired with wood above and keep the wombats from sneaking under. I am a Very amateur DIYer but this was simple.

Another fantastic product to improve our garden. Easy to assemble and looks great. A flush look along our fence line with the option to turn it into seats. We need to buy more!!
