Geotextile (nonwoven)
Nonwoven geotextile is a permeable, needle-punched fabric engineered for separation, filtration, drainage and protection across civil, landscaping and erosion control works. Manufactured from durable synthetic fibres, it performs reliably in contact with soil and aggregates.
It allows water to pass while retaining soil fines, helping prevent contamination between layers and supporting stable subgrades. Typical uses include under roads and driveways, behind retaining walls, around subsoil drains, beneath rock armour, and as a cushioning layer above geomembranes.
Supplied in a range of weights and roll sizes to suit light landscaping through to heavy-duty civil applications. Heavier grades offer greater puncture resistance and protection when used with sharp aggregates or high loads.
Easy to cut and place, nonwoven geotextile installs quickly and integrates with common drainage materials. Used correctly, it supports long-term drainage efficiency and consistent pavement performance.
