Nonwoven PET geotextile in a 2m x 50m roll for reliable filtration, separation, and drainage. Allows water to pass while retaining soil fines, ideal for landscaping and civil works.
This nonwoven PET geotextile provides a dependable filtration and separation layer for civil, landscaping, and drainage applications. Supplied in a 2m x 50m roll, it is permeable to water while retaining soil and sediment fines to help keep drainage systems clear and stable.
Typical uses include subsoil and French drains, behind retaining walls, under driveways and paving, beneath gravel paths, around drainage trenches and soakage pits, and for erosion control on slopes and embankments. It can also be used to wrap perforated pipes and to separate soils from aggregates.
Manufactured from durable polyester, the fabric offers consistent permeability, good tensile strength, and resistance to mildew and rot. It is compatible with most soils and aggregates and performs reliably when buried or covered.
Installation is straightforward: prepare the subgrade, remove sharp debris, then unroll the fabric without stretching. Overlap adjacent sheets by 200–300 mm (increase on very soft ground), or join with sewing, staples, or pins as required. Backfill with clean aggregate and cover promptly to protect from prolonged UV exposure.
Roll size: 2m width x 50m length (approx. 100 m² coverage). The fabric can be cut to size with a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until use.
