Bentonite clay in convenient 25kg bags for sealing, lining and general civil works. Naturally swelling and absorbent, it mixes easily to form low-permeability barriers and support fluids. We only ship per pallet (48 bags), single bags or less than a pallet must be collected at Castle Hill.
A fine, naturally swelling bentonite clay supplied in robust 25kg bags. When hydrated, it forms a gel-like mass that reduces permeability, supports excavations and helps control seepage. Suitable for pond and dam sealing, slurry walls and cut-off trenches, trenchless drilling support fluids, borehole backfilling and grout mixes, as well as general lining and capping works. The clay’s water absorption and thixotropic behaviour aid in suspending fines and stabilising soils. It blends readily with water or soils to create effective, low-permeability barriers. For best results, add gradually to water under steady agitation to minimise clumping and allow time for full hydration. Store bags in a cool, dry area and protect from moisture before use.
