This gabion basket measures 1500mm (L) x 525mm (W) x 300mm (H) with a 75x75mm mesh aperture. It uses AL-TEN aluminium-zinc coated steel for reliable, long-term corrosion resistance in demanding outdoor environments.
Use it for low retaining walls, garden edging, seating, planters, and erosion control features. The modular format allows multiple units to be joined for longer runs and increased wall heights as designed.
Fill with clean, angular stone larger than the 75mm aperture to ensure stability and limit loss of fines. The unit capacity is approximately 0.236 m³ (about 0.24 m³), providing a permeable structure that relieves hydrostatic pressure.
Install on a firm, level base. Secure joints with suitable ties or spirals and use internal bracing where required to control bulging; connect adjoining units for continuity. Where soil interfaces the basket, consider a non-woven geotextile to prevent soil migration.
