This robust gabion basket measures 1950mm (L) x 1200mm (W) x 525mm (H) and features a 75x75mm square mesh. Manufactured from AL-TEN aluminium–zinc alloy coated steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability for long-term outdoor use. The uniform mesh aperture helps retain rock fill securely while delivering a clean, consistent face.
Designed for a wide range of applications, it’s suitable for retaining walls, garden edging, feature walls, seating, and erosion control on slopes and waterways. The 525mm height suits standalone use or integration within multi-course structures.
For best results, assemble on a firm, level base and brace as required. Fill with hard, angular stone sized appropriately larger than the mesh aperture to prevent loss, compacting in layers to achieve a stable, neat finish.
The AL-TEN coating provides enhanced protection in challenging environments, including coastal and high-rainfall areas. Maintenance is minimal; periodic inspection of ties, alignment, and infill condition will help preserve performance over time.
