This 1m x 1m x 1m woven gabion basket is manufactured from polymer‑coated Galfan steel for enhanced durability and corrosion protection. The woven mesh construction offers strength with flexibility, creating a stable structure once filled.
Sized at 1 cubic metre, it suits retaining walls, erosion control, garden features, seating, and architectural accents. Its free‑draining design helps relieve hydrostatic pressure while providing a natural stone finish that blends with the landscape.
Galfan (zinc–aluminium alloy) delivers superior corrosion resistance compared to standard galvanizing, and the additional polymer coating provides an extra barrier in coastal or industrial environments. The woven design accommodates minor ground movement for long‑term performance.
For installation, place on a level, compacted base. Use appropriate lacing wire/spirals and internal bracing as required, and fill with hard, durable, well‑graded stone suited to the mesh. When used as a retaining structure, include a suitable geotextile separator behind the basket and follow project engineering requirements.
