This woven gabion basket is made from polymer-coated Galfan wire, offering long-term corrosion resistance and dependable performance. When filled with suitable rock, it forms a stable, permeable structure that blends into the landscape and manages water effectively. Measuring 2m x 0.5m x 0.5m, it is well suited to retaining walls, stream and shoreline protection, slope stabilization, and architectural features. Units can be installed individually or in tiers to achieve the required height and layout. The polymer coating over Galfan wire provides extra protection in demanding environments, including coastal and high-moisture sites. The flexible woven mesh adapts to ground movement while maintaining structural integrity. Baskets are assembled and filled on site. Prepare a level base, align units, interconnect adjacent baskets, and fill with durable, well-graded rock in accordance with your design. Secure joints and lids using appropriate lacing wire, clips, or spirals as specified. Once installed, the free-draining structure reduces hydrostatic pressure and typically requires minimal maintenance. Over time, natural vegetation can establish within the rock fill, further stabilizing and softening the appearance.
