This robust gabion basket is engineered from 5mm aluminium-zinc coated steel (AL-TEN) for superior corrosion resistance and long service life. The 75x75mm square mesh provides excellent stone retention while allowing natural drainage, making it well-suited to both structural and decorative applications. Measuring 1950mm (L) x 525mm (W) x 975mm (H), the unit provides approximately 1.0m³ capacity when assembled. It’s a versatile choice for garden walls, riverbank protection, sound barriers, and architectural features such as seating or planters. For best results, install on a firm, level base and fill with clean, hard, angular rock. A typical rock size larger than the mesh aperture (often around 100–200mm) helps achieve a stable, tightly packed face and reduces settlement over time.
