Selecting size: match basket depth and height to your wall layout, and plan modules so joints stagger where possible. The 75 x 75 pitch pairs well with commonly used gabion stone sizes. Base and drainage: prepare a firm, level foundation and allow water to drain freely behind and beneath the structure. Use separation fabric where fine backfill could migrate. Assembly and filling: brace internally as you build, fill in lifts, and hand-place stones at the front for a flat, consistent face. Keep lids tensioned while closing to prevent bulging. Design note: higher walls or load-bearing applications should be assessed by a qualified professional. Follow local guidelines and site-specific engineering where required.
