Weld Mesh AL-TEN 5mm

Weld Mesh AL-TEN 5mm delivers heavy-duty rigidity for demanding projects. The 5 mm wire is precision welded at each intersection to produce flat, stable mesh with consistent geometry. Ideal where strength and impact resistance are critical, this mesh keeps its shape under load and resists sagging over spans. Manufactured in Australia in mild steel with a 300gsm coating of 10% Aluminium and 90% Zinc.

Selecting mesh: with a 5 mm wire diameter, choose an aperture that balances visibility, weight and containment for your application. Tighter apertures improve security and animal control; larger apertures increase airflow and reduce weight. Supply formats can vary by product—some projects benefit from rigid panels for straight runs and high stiffness, while others use continuous roll stock for long distances and gentle curves. Confirm dimensions, tolerances and frame compatibility before ordering. Installation tips: limit unsupported spans to reduce deflection, use corrosion-compatible fasteners, and ensure adequate tension. In coastal or industrial environments, specify higher-grade protective finishes and seal or touch up all cuts.
