Built for demanding environments, this gabion is manufactured from 5 mm AL-TEN coated steel wire with a 75 x 75 mm mesh. The basket measures 1950 mm (L) x 975 mm (W) x 975 mm (H), offering a robust, modular unit for structural and decorative applications.
Use to form retaining walls, bank and slope stabilisation, erosion control, noise barriers, and striking landscape features such as benches, planters and screens. Its open, rock-filled design is both functional and visually natural.
The 5 mm wire and 75 mm aperture help the cage maintain its shape under load, while the permeable structure relieves hydrostatic pressure and promotes drainage. The AL-TEN coating provides strong corrosion resistance for long-term performance in harsh or coastal conditions.
For best results, place on a level, compacted base and fill with hard, angular stone sized larger than the mesh opening. Consider using a suitable geotextile behind soil-retaining faces and securely connect adjacent units to maintain alignment.
