This heavy-duty gabion basket measures 1950 mm (L) x 975 mm (W) x 525 mm (H) with a 75 x 75 mm square mesh. Made from 5 mm wire with an AL-TEN aluminium-zinc alloy coating, it offers reliable strength and long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
The 75 mm aperture helps retain rock fill while allowing free drainage, reducing hydrostatic pressure behind structures. Robust 5 mm wires support shape retention when correctly assembled and filled.
Use as a standalone feature or modular unit for low retaining walls, garden planters, seating, cladding, and erosion control in landscaping projects. Units can be stacked and aligned to suit site layouts.
Install on a level, compacted base and fill with hard, durable, graded rock larger than the mesh opening. Approximate internal capacity is about 1.0 m³; estimate stone quantity accordingly.
