This gabion measures 975 L x 975 W x 525 H mm and is constructed from robust 5 mm wire mesh with a 75x75 mm aperture. The compact footprint suits retaining details, planter bases, steps, and landscape features.
An AL-TEN (aluminium-zinc alloy) coating enhances corrosion resistance compared to standard galvanizing, supporting performance in coastal, drainage, and high-moisture environments. The 5 mm wire provides rigidity to maintain line and profile under load.
When filled with suitably graded rock larger than the mesh aperture, the basket forms a free-draining, stable mass. The internal volume is approximately 0.5 m3, aiding accurate material estimation and logistics planning.
